After a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s, we announce the peaceful passing of Don on February 26, 2017 at Waters Edge Care Community. Devoted husband of Jean McKinnon (nee Hannah). Loved father of Ray (Siobhan), Tammy Latour (Robert), Greg (Donna) and Heather McKinnon (Maged). Cherished grandfather of Donald, Bradley, Cassie, Hannah, Cameron, Preston and great grandpa of 3. Dear brother of Melody Wakefield (Wilf) and Robin Grish. Don will be sadly missed by his furry companion ‘Sadie’. Cremation has taken place at Whispering Pines Funeral Home Ltd. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be gratefully appreciated by his family. Don’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Cathy for all the time she spent with Dad.
