McKENNY, Duncan "Dunc" Edward John

On Thursday, November 3, 2005 Dunc McKenny died peacefully at Lady Isabelle Nursing Home, in his 77th year. Son of the late Gladys (Grasser) and Edward McKenny, Dunc was the beloved friend and life partner of Edna Belanger of Trout Creek. He was the loving father of Margaret Storie (Don King) of Nipissing, George McKenny of Sundridge, Pauline McKenny of Powassan and Ed McKenny (Sheri Hummel) of North Bay. He was the dear brother of Catherine "Cathy" McKenny of North Bay and brother-in-law of Bernice. He was predeceased by his brother Frank McKenny and son-in-law Whitney Storie. Dunc will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Tammy, Trevor, April, Michelle, Jeremy Lindsay, Kimberly, Joshua and Mellissa and great-grandchildren Kaitlin, Hailey, Jordan, Courtney, Cassidy, Trey and Cody. Dunc was very important to Edna's children Paulette Sirois (Michel) of Montreal, Jacques Belanger (Collete) of New Liskeard, and Sylvie Balan (Mitch) of Kitchener and her grandchildren. The family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home today and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayer service Sunday evening at 8:45 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, Trout Creek at 11 a.m. on Monday with interment to follow in Trout Creek Union Cemetery.
