(March 25, 1958 – November 27, 2020)
It is with great sadness and sorrow that Rob’s family announces his sudden passing. Left to mourn are his loving wife of 18 years, Liane, his children Amanda (Eric) and Steven. He is survived by his sister Sandra Donahue (Doug) and his Mother-in-law Alice Dupuis. He will be greatly missed by his faithful companions Lily and Mindy, and by all his extended family and many friends. Rob was predeceased by his parents Eddie and Lillian McGirr and his father-in-law Eugene Dupuis. Rob had a long 42-year career at McDonald’s and was truly missed by his many employees when he retired two years ago. The family will receive visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Friday December 4th 2020 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A private funeral service will be held on Saturday with a private Interment at All Saints Mausoleum to follow. The family will be announcing a Celebration of Roberts Life at a later date when the Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted. Donations can be made as expressions of sympathy to the North Bay Regional Health Center or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
