Passed away peacefully at Cassellholme Home for the Aged, Thursday, April 16, 2008, at the age of 81. Harold McGirr was the beloved husband of the late Cécile Bourdon and loved father of Paul (Cathryn) and Catherine Gerolami (Martial). He will be lovingly remembered by five grandchildren. Dear brother of Teresa Gillies (Jim) and Shirley Bentley (late Murral). Predeceased by his parents, Agnes (née Valiquette) and Lawrence McGirr. Harold was a former train conductor with Canadian National Railway. Family and friends may pay their respects at McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption, Saturday at 10 a.m. Entombment at All Saints Mausoleum. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Alzheimer Society of Canada or Cassellholme Home for the Aged would be gratefully appreciated by the family. May the road rise to meet you.
