McDONALD, Malcolm Graeme “Mac”

Passed away suddenly at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, July 4, 2012. Mac was the beloved husband of the late Mary Ann (nee McGinn), he was 82 years old. Loving father of Mitch and his wife Carole and daughter Jean Stone and her husband Reg all of North Bay. He will be lovingly remembered by his loving grandchildren Ryan and his wife Tracy, Renee and by his great grandchildren Kaya and Kennedy. Dear brother of Jim and Al. Malcolm was predeceased by his parents John and Basheba McDonald and by his siblings Arnold, Ken, Ron, Gerald, John, Donald, Mable and Jean. Mac served with the Royal Canadian Air Force as a Weapons Technician, before leaving to work for Borden Chemicals, retiring in 1993 as Plant Operator. He enjoyed spending time in the out of doors, especially at his pieces of heaven in Redbridge or at 20 Minute Lake. He loved the relationship he was able to have with is grandchildren, and proud to know that he was Ryan’s “Best Friend”. Visitation for Mac will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, July 9th at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at the North Bay Union Cemetery.
