Monique (Beaulieu) and Cory Matthys of Powassan are saddened to announce the stillbirth of their first child, Maya Violet at North Bay General Hospital on Tuesday, February 26, 2008. The baby was anticipated with much pleasure and her death was unexpected. Maya is survived by her Grandparents Darlene and Gerald Beaulieu of Lighthouse Cove, ON and Diane and Tony Matthys of Commanda; Great-Grandparents Lorraine and Norman Salive of Sylvan Lake, AB, Edna and Ray Beaulieu of Tilbury, ON and Charles Robinson (the late Agnes) of Tilbury; Uncle Justin Beaulieu, Aunt and Uncle Rachel & Dan Haskell and cousins Raymond, Cameron and Kendra. She was predeceased by her Great-Grandparents Victor and Delphine Matthys and by her Uncles Jeremiah and Nathan Beaulieu. A private funeral service has taken place.
