Mary Lafoy (nee Cherniuk)

In her 80th year, we are sad to announce the peaceful passing of  Mary on Sunday January 26, 2014 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre. She was predeceased by her husband Delbert Lafoy  and her mother Pauline Chernuik, and her step brothers and sisters: George, Stella, Annie, Doris and Bill. She is survived by her  daughter Catherine (Cliff) Pilon and son Michael Lafoy. A Catholic mass will be held at St. Patrick's Parish in Cobalt on Thursday Jan. 30, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Father John Lemire officiating. A celebration of life with family and close friends at the internment will be held in the early summer. The family would like to thank Dr.Vigars and the exceptional nursing staff at the North Bay Regional Health Centre for their compassionate care,  support and guidance through this difficult journey.
