After a long courageous battle with cancer Mary passed away with her children by her side at the North Bay Regional Healthcare Centre on Saturday March 19th, 2011 in her 58th year. Dear wife of the late Fernand Matte who passed away suddenly on March 8th, 2011. Loving mother of Chris (Lorrie) Matte, Tammy Armstrong (Doug), Tina Nevill (Steve) and Donna Milne (Lance) all of North Bay. Sadly missed by grandchildren Mckayla, Brandon, Jared, Nathan and Zoey. Predeceased by her parents Jack and Elsie (nee Thayer), brother Ray and three sisters Diana, Florence and Lacey. Survived by her siblings Lillian (Earl) Wallace, John (Sue) Thayer, Bill (Connie) Thayer, Lois Thayer, Robert (Micheline) Thayer and her many nieces and nephews. Mary will be sadly missed by her many friends and co-workers at Wal Mart. No visitation. Cremation at the Forest Lawn Crematorium. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. If desired, donations to the Northern Cancer Research would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
