MARTIN, Urbain

Passed away at North Bay General Hospital, McLaren Site, Thursday, December 14, 2006 at the age of 71. Urbain Martin was the beloved husband of Aline (née Landry) and loved father of Karen Martin of Callander, Pamela Sawchuck (Derek) of Hamilton, Tracey Sandford (Paul) of Orillia, Debbie Hubbard of North Bay, Paul (Sue), Ron (Yvonne), Robert (Lem) all of Toronto and Kevin (Tammy) of Exeter. He will be lovingly remembered by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Urbain was the dear brother of Roseanne Poirier, Yvonne Hachey and Irene Godin. Predeceased by his parents, Madelaine and Israel Martin, one sister, Vitaline and two brothers, Marcel and Medore.



Family and friends may pay their respects at MCGUINTY FUNERAL HOME, Sunday from 2to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Alphonsus Church in Callander, Monday at 10:30 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
