Passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 28,2006. As a Christian, she is now at peace with her strong faith in the return of Jesus Christ and the promise of the resurrection.
Beloved wife of the late Gus Maroosis and loving mother of Lillian, Sylvia, Rheta, George, Mary and Penny, Grandmother of Angela, Kaila, Jules, Helen, Alain, Kyle and Lara, Great Grandmother of Emma and Nikos. She was predeceased by her parents Nikos and Sylvia Vounalaki her sisters Penelope and Maria and her brothers Elias and George.
Lola was born in the south of Greece in the village of Monevasis and came to Canada as a young bride. She had a great passion for God, her family, her plants and birds.
According to her wishes, a private family funeral was held on Thursday, March 30, 2006 at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME with interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
