1913 - 2008 The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Saturday March 1, 2008, at the age of 94 years. Daughter of the late Joseph Guy Boisvert and of the late Théona (née Major) Boisvert. Predeceased by her step father Joseph Gabriel Guénette. Precious wife of the late Albert Marleau. Loving and caring mother of her fourteen children Fernand (Carmen), Aurele (Hélène), Yvonne Delorme, Armand (Micheline) and Jeanine Beauchemin (Roger) all of Sturgeon Falls, Rolande Ouimet (Léon), Rita Vaillancourt (late Bruce) and Nicole Marleau all of Sudbury, Réal (Rose) of North Bay and Claude (Suzanne) of Verner. Predeceased by her children Rene, Lucille Levesque (Pierre of Sturgeon Falls), Gérard and Jacques. Survived by her step sister Anna Rémillard-Gauthier of Sturgeon Falls. Also predeceased by her sister Myrl (Moune) Girard-Villeneuve, step brother Adrien Guénette (late Simone) and step sister Rev. Sister Yvonne Guénette s.p.. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 31 grandchildren, 32 great- grandchildren and by her 2 great-great grandchildren. A generous, kind and affectionate mother, Laura's home was always a welcoming place with plenty of food and kindness for all. Thoughtful and attentive to everyone's needs, her fine example of a strong and determined lady will remain a tribute to be honored by all. Affectionately known in the Sturgeon Falls area as ‘Madame sucre à la crème” Laura was also a former member of Les Filles D'Isabelle and Les Chatelaines. The family will receive friends at THEORET BOURGEOIS FUNERAL HOME, Sturgeon Falls, Monday from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday March 4 2008 at 11 a.m. in Ste.Thérèse D'Avila Church, Cache Bay. Donations to Au Chateau or to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated.
