After a short illness Georgia died at North Bay Regional Hospital on Friday, July 27, 2012 surrounded by family. She was in her 83rd year. Georgia was predeceased by her parents Laura (Cook) and Frederick Hampel, her husband Howard Mark and her siblings Ed and Vernon Hampel and Jackie (Hoffman) Bellrose. She was the loving mother of Albert (Rosalie) of Aurora, Tammie of Calgary, AB, Lori (Neill) of Kitchener, and Donna Lynn (Bill Marles) of Newmarket, and proud grandmother of Kendra, Matthew, Kevin, Graham and Laura and great-grandmother of Kiara, Tiana and Madilyn. Georgia was the dear sister of Aldythe Rogerson of Port Loring, Harley Hampel of Elliott Lake, and Donna Possamai of Sault Ste. Marie. The Mark family will receive visitors at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #415, Port Loring on Monday, July 30 from 12:30 to 2:00 pm with the funeral beginning at 2:00 pm. Cremation has taken place. Interment of ashes to follow in Port Loring Cemetery at a later date. If desired, donations in memory of Georgia may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion or the charity of your choice.
