The family announces with heavy hearts for the passing of William Christopher (Chris) Managhan at the North Bay Regional Health Centre with family by his side on Wednesday, February 28th, 2024 at the age of 63.
Chris was predecease by his parents William (Bill) Managhan of Callander and Sylvia Laframboise of Bonfield.
Chris is survived by his partner Correan Mousseau, loving father to Caitlin Cranfield, grandpa to Kurtis, Scarlett and Skylar. He will be sadly missed by his siblings Kevin, Kathy (Mike), Rick (Sandra), many nieces and nephews and his fur baby Buddy (Poopers) whom he cherished so much.
Chris was a graduate of Chippewa High School. In his younger years, he started bartending in Mississauga then returned to North Bay to pursue a change of career at Osprey Links Golf Course who he has been employed there since inception as a groundskeeper. Chris had a love for music, family and enjoying a dip in his pool. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to have known him.
As per Chris' wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Desmarais and staff at Health Sciences North in Sudbury, the NBRHC staff, including Dr. Giordano, Ashleigh Ceasor and the many gifted nurses who provided care to Chris and the support they provided to his family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Chris' memory can be made to the North Bay Regional Health Centre - Cancer Care will be greatly appreciated by the family.
