Peacefully, at Osgoode Care Centre, Metcalfe, Ontario on Friday, February 15, 2013, in her 93rd year. Alma was predeceased by her husband Gordon E. Mallette (1915 - 1982). She was the beloved mother of Paul Mallette (Sylvia) of Barrie, Garry Mallette (Helen) of Ottawa, Mark Mallette (Linda) of Metcalfe and Lori Hagan (Festus) of Pittsburgh, PA; Grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of nine. Alma was the dear sister of Eileen Eckensviller (the late Francis) and Art Booth (Lois), all of Commanda. Alma was a long time resident of Powassan and was an active fraternal member of the Powassan Legion. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service and Interment of Ashes at Powassan Union Cemetery to take place in the spring will be announced.
