It is with heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of John Maisano on November 25, 2018 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre at the age of 94 years. Born on October 9, 1924 in Acquacalda, Santo Roberto, Reggio Calabria, Italy. Loving father of Tony Maisano (Nancy), Mimi Johnson (Ed) and Sam Maisano (Sandy). Cherished Nonno of Morgan, Whitney, Angela, Lindsay, Johnathan, Victoria and Great- Nonno of Azaria and Alivya. John will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents; Salvatore and Domenica Maisano and by his siblings; Paula, Antoinette, Francesco and Leo. John was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus with the North Bay Albanel Assembly. Family will be receiving visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Thursday November 29, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Holy Name of Jesus Church on Friday November 30th, 2018 at 11 am. Entombment at All Saints Mausoleum. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a Charity of Choice would be gratefully appreciated by his family.
