Deborah Anne Mainville, a beloved and cherished individual, known for her unwavering support as a military wife and her remarkable career in banking, passed away on February 12, 2024. Her graceful presence and vibrant personality touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Born on May 9, 1957, in the picturesque St. John's, Newfoundland, Deborah's journey was one filled with adventure and determination. She stood by her husband, Denis, as he served in the military all across Europe and Canada. In 1988, she embarked on a new path in banking where she excelled at various institutions with her hard work and dedication.

Deborah's love for exploring new horizons led her to cherish memories of travelling through Europe. She was a knowledgeable individual with a love for engaging conversations, making her presence always felt wherever she went. Her interests in reading books, solving puzzles, and enjoying music showcased her vibrant spirit.

One of Deborah's proudest accomplishments was obtaining a university degree and pursuing law—an achievement that spoke volumes of her intelligence and perseverance. Her education at York University laid the foundation for her successful career and lifelong love for learning.

In the hearts of Deborah's surviving family and friends, her legacy lives on eternally. Her husband of 40 years, Denis, brother Wayne, sister Wanda with her husband Stuart, sister-in-laws Susan, Annette, Yvette , Giselle, Rosanne, mother-in-law Cecille Mainville and Bill, little brother, Lonnie Machatis, nieces Jessica, Tonya, Brittany, Hailey, Angela, Emma, Farida, Sue Ellen, Julie, Nicole; nephews David, Toby with his wife Amanda, Ryan, Daniel, Scott Culp, Raymond Duhamel with his wife Liz, Michelle Chivers with her husband Doug, Amanda Harrison with her husband Justin, Asim, Andre, Matti, Darrin, Leo; Great nephew Austin Busse - along with numerous great nieces and nephews, personal friend Joe,  and many other friends and family mourn her passing while cherishing the joy she brought into their lives. 

Deborah is preceded in death by Rosalita Clements née Breen (mother), Patrick William Clements (father), sister Sandra Duhamel née Clements, brothers Patrick Donald Clements, Robert Clements, sister Sharon Culp née Clements.

A Celebration of Life service honoring Deborah Anne Mainville will be held at Innisfil Legion Branch 547 in Belle Ewart on May 4th. It is an opportunity for all who knew her to come together and share precious memories of a life beautifully lived.

Although she may no longer be present among us physically, Deborah's spirit will forever remain alive in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known such an extraordinary woman. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
