MacINNIS, Alois ‘Lou’

It is with sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Retired Lieutenant Colonel A.J. "Lou" MacInnis on March 8, 2018 at the age of 82 years. Dearly loved husband of Kelly MacInnis (nee Williams). Loving father of Richard (Michelle) and Dean MacInnis and step-grandfather of Evan, Cameron and Robert. Dear brother of John (Barbara), Melanie MacInnis (David-deceased), Gary (Hilary) and Lorne (Liz). He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents; John and Melanie MacInnis (nee Vandenbroeck) and his godchild; Louis MacInnis. Family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Monday March 12, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at the Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption on Tuesday March 13, 2018 at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice would be gratefully appreciated by his family.
