LYON, Florence Margaret (Jamieson)

It is with gratitude for a beautiful life well-lived that the family announces the passing of Florence Lyon in her 97th year on Saturday, February 10, at Humber River Regional Hospital (Church site). Beloved mother of Sally and her husband Hugh Goodwillie of Toronto. Loved and loving grandmother of Lynne Goodwillie, Anne Miller (Joe) and Jon Goodwillie. Born near Campbellton NB and resident for many years in Kirkland Lake and North Bay, she is survived by her brother, Dr. James Jamieson and his wife Jessie of North Bay. Pre-deceased by brothers, Lloyd, Harold and Laine and sisters Bernice Hutchinson and Huddie Crozier.



Visitation will take place at TURNER AND PORTER (BUTLER CHAPEL), 4933 Dundas Street West on Monday, February 12, from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral to be held at Islington United Church, 25 Burnhamthorpe Road (at Dundas St. W.), Etobicoke, on Tuesday, February 13, at 1:30 pm. Spring interment at North Bay Union Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Parkinson Society Canada or the charity of your choice.
