Passed away on Tuesday, January 4th, 2011 at the North Bay General Hospital Scollard Site, she was in her 78th year. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Lynett. Loving mother of Alan (Vicki) Lynett, Mark (Diane) Lynett all of North Bay, Marsha (Paul) Johnston of Powassan. Proud grandmother of Thomas Johnston (Fiancée Heather Calwell), Marlee, Markus, Mathew and Andrew. Shirley is survived by her brother Ted (Lorraine) Filiatrault and sister in law Midge Filiatrault. Predeceased by her parents Paul and Kathleen Filiatrault, brothers Dave, Jerry and sister in law Nola Filiatrault. Shirley loved to play golf and played at the Ivy Golf Course. Friends may call at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Thursday, January 6th, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service on Friday, January 7th, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Followed by cremation at Forest Lawn Crematorium. The family would like to thank Dr. Leckie and the nurses on the 4th floor for their kindness and compassion.
