LOWNDES, Grant Henry

​Grant Lowndes died peacefully at North Bay Regional Health Centre, on Tuesday, April 26, 2016. He was in his 81st year. Grant was the beloved husband of Laurel Gayl (Grawbarger) of Golden Valley. He was the much loved father of Jill of Aurora, Drew (Glenda) of Aurora and Scott (Elizabeth) of Holland Landing. Loving Pops to Molly, Liam and Grandpa to Christina. Grant was the dear brother of Robert (Joan), Kent (the late Bette), the late Kim (Louise) and Lona Martins (late Peter). Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 30 from 1 to 3 pm at St. Paul’s United Church, Golden Valley followed by a Memorial Service at 3 pm. Interment of ashes to follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Golden Valley. If desired, memorial donations to St. Paul’s United Church are suggested.
