Lowe, Barbara (nee Fitzgerald)
Passed away peacefully at the Nipissing Serenity Hospice on Sunday February 25th, 2024 at the age of 75.
Beloved spouse of Wayne Lowe. Loving mother to Tracy Thurston (Terrell), Shauna Dunn (Dan), Kristin Moffat (Brandon) and her infant son Scott Lowe (predeceased), who she is now reunited with. Cherished ‘Mima’ of Joshua and Meagan Maxwell, Lucas and Amelia Dunn and Willa and Fraser Moffat. Barbara is survived by her siblings Debbie Fitzgerald, Paul Fitzgerald, Barry Fitzgerald and Joanne Fitzgerald. She was predeceased by her sister Janet Pacini and her parents Edward and Florence. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews.
Nothing brought her more happiness than spending time sitting by the pool in Florida with a glass of wine and sharing laughs with her beloved husband and daughters. She would often remark to Wayne, ‘How lucky are we to get to enjoy this every day?’
Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd on Saturday March 2nd 2024, from 2pm until 4pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
