May 16, 1919 – October 18, 2007. Passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on Thursday October 18, 2007 at the Golden Manor in Timmins. Predeceased by her husband Joseph Evans Longpre in 1974. Loving mother of Michelle Ohlsson (Lars) of Vancouver Island, BC and Michael Longpre (Jacqueline) of Schumacher. Cherished grandmother of Marly Ohlsson, late Lori-Ann Longpre (2000), Christine Longpre, Danny Plourd and Angele Plourd. Dear sister of Betty-Ann McKee (Hap) of North Bay and Jack Ross (Claire) of Sarnia. Loydie was predeceased by her parents Eva Cora-May and William Ross.
Respecting her wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. Interment of cremated remains will be held at a later date. Remembrance donations made to the Alzheimer Society will be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Maison funéraire LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home. (705)268-4488.
