LITTLE, Arthur Sherwin (Sergeant Retired)

Passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Center on Wednesday, May 23rd, 2012. Arthur was the son of the late Herman and Elizabeth Yerkie, he was 91 years old. Dearly loved brother of Ron Yerkie and his wife Shirley of North Bay. He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Arthur was the companion of Bobby Jones. He was predeceased by his sisters Vera Strood and Margaret Campbell. He served with the Canadian Army during the Second World War and with the British Army during the Korean War. He landed with the Canadians during Dieppe in 1942, and was a Prison of War for 4 years. Arthur’s family will receive friends in the Martyn Funeral Home on Monday, May 28th from 1:00 PM until time for a Memorial Service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM.
