LEYBURNE (nee Jackson), Thelma - July 19, 1920 - June 9, 2005

It is with great sorrow the family announces her passing at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on June 9, 2005. Thelma was the loved wife of the late Earl Leyburne and dear mother of Bill Leyburne (Joanne); Darlan Potocnik (Larry) and Sandra Claudio (Joe). She also leaves to mourn, her grandchildren, Erin and Carly Leyburne; Stirling and Clayton Potocnik; Lisa Najm (Sam) and David Claudio and two great-granddaughters, Gaby and Maia Najm will also miss her as they grow. Thelma was an avid sportswoman, excelling in curling and tennis. The poetry she wrote will be a lasting gift to us all. Thelma's family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until time of funeral service 1 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2005 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Chapel, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, (519-749-8467).
