It is with great sadness that we announce, James “Walter” Lemieux, has passed away peacefully at his home, as he so wished, on Sunday December 31st, 2023.
Beloved Father of Tracey (Gord), and loving Stepfather of Michael (Sherri) and Elizabeth (Ernie). Remembered lovingly by his Granddaughter Jessica (Tim) and Step Granddaughters Jessica and Samantha.
Walter leaves behind two surviving sisters, Shirley “Marie” (Don) and Rita.
Pre-deceased by first wife Carmen and second wife Margaret.
A celebration of life will take place at Royal Canadian Legion 445 (Senior Room) (345 Landsdowne St., Callander, Ontario) on Saturday May 25, 2024, at 1:00 pm.
Walter’s final resting place will be with his first love and wife, Carmen, at the Notre-Dame Cemetery in Ottawa, Ontario.
