LEFEVRE, Evelyn Irene

Peacefully at the North Bay General Hospital on Monday July 23, 2007 following a lengthy struggle with Alzheimer's disease. Evelyn Irene (nee Pawson) was the beloved wife, for the past fifty years, of J. Gerald “Jerry” Lefevre. The proud and loving mother to David (Kalli) of Bejing, China, Wendy of Markham, and Sherri Leroux (Richard) of London, Ont., she will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Zak, Noah, Samantha, and Hunter. Evelyn is also survived by her sisters Marjorie Jones (Stanley) of Sudbury, and Eleanor Oram (Ed) of Barrie. She was predeceased by her sister Dorothy Bell. A dedicated wife and mother Evelyn also operated her own tax preparation business for many years, had been an active member of St. Andrew's United Church and was very proud to have been a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority for the past 60 years.



In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place. The Lefevre family will receive friends at St. Andrew's United Church on Thursday morning from 10:00 am until time for a memorial service at 11:00 am. Interment of her ashes will follow in Forest lawn Cemetery. If desired donations to St. Andrew's United Church Memorial Fund, the Alzheimer's Society, or the charity of your choice will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
