It is with tremendous sorrow to announce the passing of our beautiful mother, Linda (Ridley) Lee (predeceased by Rocky).
Linda passed on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, in the North Bay Regional Health Centre at the age of 72.
Linda's greatest love and joy were her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Nothing gave her more pleasure than seeing them all succeed and do well. She enjoyed crafting gifts for all of those she loved. Thrift shopping and browsing to get deals. Linda was the sweetest, most caring soul. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Linda was born January 31, 1951, to the late John (Jack) Ridley and Agnes Ridley (nee Andrews) in New Liskeard, ON.
She is survived by her 3 children, Rachel Lee (Ward Evans), Clayton Lee (Carolyn Propper), Jessica Goddard (Brett Vezina), and Step Daughter Samantha Doupe (Ken).
Linda is also survived by her much-loved grandchildren, Paige Doner (David), Logan Lee, Aiden Skelton (Lee), Cole Goddard (Robynne L’Ami), and Carson Goddard.
Including Step grandkids, Matthew Doupe, Katrina Doupe (Troy), Brice Evans (Katelyn Mackey), Nolan Evans (Kirsten Trudel), Hayden Propper, Darien Propper, Kylan Vezina, and Harrison Vezina.
Great Grandchildren were her special joy, Imogen Doner and Llewelyn Doner.
Step Great Grandchildren, Jackson Doupe, Hudson Doupe, and Paisley Evans.
Linda is survived by 3 siblings, Arnold Ridley (Lori), Debbie Lachapelle (Charlie), and Gerry Ridley (Laurie).
Predeceased by her brothers Jack Ridley, Ted Ridley, Ray Ridley, Bob Ridley, and Rodney Ridley. Sisters, Joan Perry (Bob), Jean Skinner, and Bernice Ridley.
Linda's final care has been entrusted to Martyn’s Funeral Home in North Bay, ON. Linda did not wish to have a service.
Any memorial contributions may be made to the NBRHC with many thanks to Dr. Trenker, who was fond of Linda and made her laugh. (She got a kick out of him). As well as all the wonderful nurses that took such great care of our mom. (Especially in C3).
