It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing after a brief and courageous battle with cancer with his wife and daughter by his side on Thursday December 3rd, 2015 in his 77th year.  Beloved husband of Barbara Kathy (nee: Newman).  Dear son to pre deceased Robert & Adrienne (nee: Lauzon). Loving father of Louise Sweet (Marty), David Evans (Alain), Bancroft Evans & Edith Wallis.  Cherished brother of Paul (Sandra), Sylvio (June), Carmen (Art), Diane (Will) predeceased by Giselle (Bert), Tony (Warby) and Lucille (Wilf). Dear Grandpa to 11  and Great Grandpa to 1. Devoted Uncle to 20 nieces & nephews. Roger was born in Dobie, ON.  The family settled in North Bay.  Roger worked for Craigbit/Kenrock for 40 years & retired with his wife at his cherished lakeside home. As per Roger's wishes, he has been cremated. Family & friends will be received at his memorial at Jocko Point Community Centre/Firehall at 1082 Jocko Point Road, North Bay on Saturday December 12th from 2pm-4pm.
