LECOMPTE, Jocelyne (1956-2005)

It is with heavy and sad hearts that her family announces her passing at the West Nipissing General Hospital on Monday, September 12, 2005, to another yet valiantly fought battle to cancer. Cherished daughter of Mildred (Malleau) Lecompte and the late Lucien Lecompte. Much loved sister of Marilyn (Maurice Durocher) of Oshawa, Suzanne (Normand Blais), and Nanette (David Nesbitt) of North Bay. Special aunt to David Durocher (Cherish), Michael Durocher (Heather), Louis Blais (Pam), and Nicholas Lecompte. She will be missed by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jocy was a ray of sunshine in our lives and always had a friendly smile or hello for whomever she met. Her endearing innocence and trusting nature left an imprint on all. Family receiving friends at the THEORET FUNERAL HOME today, September 14, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial mass will be celebrated by Reverend Raymond Sullivan on Thursday, September 15, 2005 at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. If desired, donations to the West Nipissing Community Living or the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy. "So Long Kiddo!"
