LeCLAIR: Alvin Wilfred

(A former resident of Tilden Lake, where he and Rita raised the family) Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at the North Bay General Hospital – McLaren Site, on Friday, October 27, 2006. In his 85th year, Alvin was the beloved husband of Rita Reichstein for 59 years. He was the loving father of Catherine and her husband Jay Stroud of Tilden Lake, Joan and her husband John McDonald of Midland, Doreen Cooper of Powassan, Terry LeClair and his wife Brenda of Callander, Shirley and her husband John Smith of Sudbury and Chris LeClair and his wife Cindy also of Callander.

Predeceased by his son Tommy, his son-in-law Dave Cooper and siblings Kay Hughes, Hector LeClair, Barclay LeClair, Marjorie Davis and Mable Moore.

He will be lovingly remembered by his 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Dearly loved brother of Ruth Lazure (husband Leo D.) and Bessie Desjardins) (husband Rodger D.). M

Visitation will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home on Sunday, October 29th from 2:00 – 4:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, October 30th, at 11:00 am. Interment to follow in the Callander Union Cemetery.
