1929-2008 - The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Saturday March 15, 2008 at the age of 78 years. Daughter of the late Théodule and of the late Graziella (née Rémillard) Giroux. Wife of the late Ernest Leblanc. Loving mother of Claire Vincent (Michel) of Verner, Michel of St. Catharines, Laurent (Pauline) of Sturgeon Falls and Roch (Lorraine) of London ON. Predeceased by her daughter Rollande. Dear sister of Roméo Giroux (late Alice) (Olivette) of Hanmer, Marguerite Lafrance (late Armand) of Sturgeon Falls, Claude (Claire), André (Marguerite) and Irène Lafantaisie (Yvon) all of Verner, Lucille Leblanc (Edmond) of Val Thérèse, Eliane Fournier (Roland) of Val Caron and Germaine Labelle (Joe Forest) of Sudbury. Predeceased by her brothers Henri (Annette of Verner), René (late Florence) and by her sister Anita Bellemare (late Georges). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and by her many nieces and nephews. Jeannette was a kind and lovingly person who was fond of her family and happiest when surrounded by them. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. The family will receive friends at THEORET BOURGEOIS FUNERAL HOME, Sturgeon Falls, Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday March 19 2008 at 11 a.m. in Sacré Coeur Church, Sturgeon Falls.
