It is with great sadness that the family of Gerry Lavigne announce his passing on January 20th, 2021 at Waters Edge, North Bay at the age of 86 years.
Gerry was predeceased by his loving wife Wanda (2003). Loving father of Sheila Gauthier (Denis), Laurie Lavigne, Allen (Lenora), James, Christine (deceased) and Michael (Stacey). He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren Sean Lavigne (Trisha), Tyler, Kevin Gauthier (Mary), Carol Bourque (Kyle), Tanya, Gina, Curtis, Mathew, Ana, Cody, Justin, Samantha Craig (Brian) as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was the son of the late Anna (Lafantaisie) and Thomas Lavigne. Gerry had a long career as a truck driver. Gerry and Wanda were longtime summer residents at Seguin’s Beach and Trailer Park where they enjoyed entertaining family and friends.
Gerry loved fishing and spending time in Brent fishing on Cedar Lake catching those big lakers.
The family would like to thank Dr. Redhead and the amazing staff at Waters Edge for the outstanding care they provided to Gerry.
