LAUER, Violet

At North Bay General Hospital, Scollard Site, Sunday, October 21, 2007. Violet Lauer (nee Gibbons) beloved wife of Ernest Lauer in her 86th year. Dearly loved mother of Christine Fetzer of Bethesda, Maryland, Mirko Lauer (step-son) (Jessica) of Lima , Peru, Barbara Lauer of Plantation, Florida, Pedro Lauer (Amelia) of Whitby, Ernesto Lauer (Fran) of North Bay, Annette Lauer- Seguin (Dan) of North Bay and Susan Lauer (Brendan Smith) of Melbourne, Australia . Lovingly remembered by 18 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Violet was a British World War II veteran and a gifted musician. Predeceased by her parents Violet and William Gibbons and a brother William Gibbons.



Cremation at Forest Lawn Crematorium. Memorial visitation at the McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME, Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Sons of Jacob Synagogue.Our family wishes to express deepfelt appreciation to Rev. R. Smith, and the compassionate nurses of the stroke unit , and the palliative unit at the NBGH.
