(Retired after 32 years with Union Gas) Unexpectedly, at his home in Restoule, on Thursday, July 19, 2012. He was in his 70th year. Dennis Latour was the beloved father of Mark Latour (Christine) of Callander, Neil Porter of Restoule and Dana Latour of Orangeville; and grandfather of Philippe, Jonathan and Lexa. He was the dear brother of Jack Latour (Anita) of Callander, Denzil Latour (Jeanne) of North Bay, Leonard Latour (Sheila) of Powassan, Glen Latour (Evelyn) of Mattawa, Louis Latour (Ann) of North Bay, Lorean Generoux of North Bay, Dolores Larochelle (the late Louis) of Powassan and the late Delma Hauck (Joseph of Kitchener). Dennis was predeceased by his parents Florence (Dunn) and Wilfred Latour. The Latour family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, July 25 at 11:00 am in the Paul Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation has taken place. Interment at Powassan Union Cemetery will follow the funeral service.
