LAPORTE, Joseph Clayton

At North Bay General Hospital, Friday, October 12, 2007, Joseph Clayton Laporte, beloved husband of Noella Laporte (nee Vachon), at the age of 75. Loving father of Mark Laporte and Luke Laporte and the late Joanne Laporte (deceased 2003). Loving grandfather of John and Matt. Dear brother of Irvin (Bud), Emile and Fred Laporte and Richard St. Louis. Joe was the special son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Prior and special brother of Edward Prior, Michael Prior and the late Dolly Prior-Marleau. Predeceased by his parents, Yvon and Mary Laporte. Joe won a lifelong award for blood donation over the years.



Family receiving friends at the McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME Tuesday from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. A mass will be celebrated at St. Peter the Apostle Church Tuesday at 11 a.m. As expressions of sympathy donations to the War Amps, the Canadian Cancer Society or Diabetes Association would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
