At North Bay General Hospital, Scollard Site, Tuesday, September 13, 2005. Beloved husband of Rose Laporte, in his 79th year. Dearly loved father of Denise Robidoux (Nelson Sr.), Raymond Laporte (Victoria), all of Chisholm and Lise Laporte of Astorville. Lovingly remembered by four grandchildren and three great-granddaughters. Dear brother of Marguerite Perry (Reg), Marie Jeanne Bedard (Gary), Alec Laporte (Lorraine), Paul Laporte (Mona) and Maurice Laporte (Eunice). Predeceased by his parents Rose and William Laporte, sisters Beatrice, Cecile, Irene and brothers Rene, Orval and Hector. Visitation at the McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Paroisse St.Thomas d'Aquin, Astorville, Friday at 10:30 a.m. Cremation at Forest Lawn Crematorium.
