Dennis Langlois, affectionately known as Denny, passed away peacefully at his home in North Bay, Ontario, surrounded by the love of his family, on June 26, 2023. He was 80 years old. Denny battled with Multiple Myeloma with unwavering strength and courage.

Denny was a loving husband and best friend to his beloved wife of 58 years, Colleen (nee Downey). Their love was a shining example to all who knew them. Together, they shared a lifetime of memories and created a beautiful family.

Denny was a proud father to his daughter Rhonda Scarfone and her husband Anthony. He cherished his role as Poppa to Nicholas Scarfone and Michael Scarfone (Jaime Udeschini), along with their cherished fur babies, Sadie and Bruno.

Denny was born to Charles and Mary Langlois (nee St. Martin) in North Bay, Ontario. He was also preceded in death by his siblings: Leona Strang (Bill), Theresa Coutts (Bill), Charlotte [Dolly] Reed (Les),
Pearl Carr (Vern), Lorraine [Babs] Burke (Ken), Sharron Gascon (Fred), Fred [Fritz] (Hazel), William [Willie] (Edna), and Elmer [Dokie]. Surviving are his sisters Mary Vaillancourt (Wayne deceased) and Jeanette Pringle (Wayne deceased), along with many nieces and nephews.

Denny dedicated many years of service to Canada Post before his well-deserved retirement. Outside of work, he had a deep passion for golf, spending countless hours at the North Bay Golf and Country Club, where he was a proud member for 50 years. An avid golfer, Denny found solace and joy on the green. He also had an unwavering love for hockey and all sports, appreciating the camaraderie and competition they offered.

Denny's warmth and genuine personality touched the lives of many. He cherished his friends and the special moments they shared. Whether it was on the golf course, cheering for his favorite team, or simply spending time together, Denny treasured these connections.

In accordance with Denny’s wishes, the family will gather privately to celebrate his life and there will be no visitation or service. Denny will be cremated, and his remains will find their final resting place at All Saints Mausoleum in North Bay.
