LANG, Rita

Passed away at North Bay General Hospital, Scollard Site, Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at the age of 82 years. Rita Lang was the beloved wife of the late Don Lang and loved mother of Marie "Couse" Lapointe (Roger) of Windsor, Gerald Lang (Anne) of Kanata and June Nunner (Angelo) of North Bay. She will be lovingly remembered by 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Victor, Jean-Paul and Raymond Bélanger, Estelle Bélanger and Claire Decaire. Predeceased by her parents, Lena and Eugene Bélanger, three brothers, Léo, Michel and Gérald and one sister, Lorraine Sloan.

Rita was vice-president of the Canadian Council of the Blind Committe and co-ordinator and an active volunteer with C.N.I.B.

Family and friends may pay their respects at McGuinty Funeral Home, Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Church, Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Interment of cremated remains at All Saints Mausoleum, St. Mary's Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to C.N.I.B. or Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
