LAIDLAW, William

Passed away at Victoria, British Columbia, Saturday, October 29, 2005 at the age of 61. William was the beloved husband of the late Susan Carruthers and the late Susan Myles-Davis. Loved father of the late Lisa Laidlaw and dear son of the late Dorothy and Albert Laidlaw. Dear brother of Albert (Margaret) of Bancroft, Ontario, Brian (Deborah) of Uxbridge, Ontario, Andrea Ramsey (Clifford) of Lethbridge, Alberta and John (Christine) of Orillia, Ontario. He will be dearly remembered by nieces and nephews and members of Phelps United Church congregation. William was past secretary of Kinsmen Club and was the music director and a presbyterian representative of Phelps United Church as church activity was a big part of his life. Family and friends may pay their respects at McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME, Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted by Reverend Elizabeth Fraser at Phelps United Church, Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
