1926-2006 - The family announces with sorrow her death at the West Nipissing General Hospital, Sturgeon Falls, Saturday June 10 2006 at the age of 80 years. Daughter of the late Alexandre and of the late Anna (née Levesque) Duval. Predeceased by her husband Lionel Lafrenière, and her son Denis Lafrenière. Cherished mother of Joanne (Claude Mayotte) of North Bay. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandsons Marc and Pierre. Dear sister of Noella (Terry Nesbitt) of Sturgeon Falls and Jacqueline (Joe Larocque) of Cache Bay. Predeceased by her brothers Edouard, Fred, Arthur and her sister Anna Cull.
Loved by so many, Rita brought joy to those around her through grace and kindness. Her family wishes to express a special thank you to all their friends for their love, support and help during this difficult time.
The family will receive friends at Sacré Coeur Church, Sturgeon Falls, on Thursday June 15 2006 at 11 a.m. for a Memorial Mass. Donations to be made to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements in care of the THEORET-BOURGEOIS FUNERAL HOME, Sturgeon Falls.
