It is with deep sorrow that Emma’s family announces her passing at North Bay General Hospital Scollard site after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Emma leaves behind to mourn her loss her loving husband of 34 years, Henry, son Wesley (Lois) Crigger of North Bay, and daughters of her extended family Jackie (Doug) Brown of North Bay, Jo-Ann Ladouceur of Matheson, and Janet (Gord) Stoesz of Kamloops, BC and dear sisters Jean Dawn of North Bay and Ivy Watt of Kapuskasing.

Known to most as “Grandma” or “Auntie Em”, Emma was a grandmother, great grandmother and aunt to many. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Kevin (Julie), Debbie, Wende Leigh (Todd), Angie, Jeff (Adrienne), Jason, Marque (Andrea), Richard (Tara), Alain, Kayla, Sara, Stephanie (Dave), Scott, Cody (Tiana) and Spencer, 13 great grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews. Emma was predeceased by her parents, Catherine (Calder) and John Banks, first husband George “Edward” Crigger, daughter Elsie Cole-Fong (Ming), Joyce Ladouceur (Adrien) and sister Ethel Prince. A Funeral Service for Emma will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday February 2, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. Cremation to follow the service with her ashes to be interred this Spring at the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
