1925-2008. The family announces with sorrow his death at the West Nipissing General Hospital, Sturgeon Falls, Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at the age of 82 years. Son of the late Ernest and the late Thérèse Lachance. Predeceased by his wife Irène. Beloved companion of Juliette Legault of Sturgeon Falls. Dear father of André Lachance (Debrah) of Wahnapitae and Réjean Lachance of Edmonton-AB. Survived by his sister Jeannine Malette (late Léopold) of Sturgeon Falls and by his brother Guy Lachance (Andrée) of St Jérme-PQ. Predeceased by his brother Jean-Louis and by his sister Marcelle Lachance-Sigouin. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his granddaughter, Angela Lachance (Pierre Myre) of Sturgeon Falls, André Lachance Jr. and by his three great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Jacob Mayer and their baby sister soon to be born. Predeceased by one grandson Robert Lachance. The family will receive friends at THEORET BOURGEOIS FUNERAL HOME, Sturgeon Falls, Monday, May 5, 2008 after 10 am. Funeral service to be held at 11 am in the Funeral Home Chapel.
