(1945-2015) It is with great sorrow and sadness to announce the passing of Gisèle Labrecque on Friday, July 31st after a brief battle with cancer. She was in her 71st year. Beloved wife of Roméo Labrecque of Ajax. Cherished mother of Francine (Conrad Giroux) of Guelph, Jocelyne (Richard Charters) of Ajax and Michel (Tracy Matton) of North Bay. Proud grandmother of 7 grandchildren. Gisèle will be sadly missed by her many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
> Gisèle loved camping, being with family and spending time with her grandchildren.
> The service was held on August 4th. The interment will be held on Saturday, September 5th at 11 am at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Bay.
> A sincere thank you to the Doctors and Nurses at the Cancer Centre at Lakeridge Health Oshawa and the Doctors and nurses at Rouge Valley Ajax – Pickering Hospital. A sincere thank you as well to the nurses with CCAC.
