KORELL, Arvo

(1923-2007). The family announces with sorrow his death at the West Nipissing General Hospital, Sturgeon Falls, Monday April 30, 2007, at the age of 84 years. Son of the late John and the late Hilda (Santamaki) Korell. Beloved husband of Eila (née Pentilla) Korell of Sturgeon Falls. Dear father of Alan (Angèle) and Ken (Eileen) both of Sturgeon Falls. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandson Darryl and by his special niece Linda Koskela (Tim) of Sturgeon Falls. Predeceased by his brothers and sister Tynne, Reino, Karlo and Miriam.

Arvo was a veteran of the second world war. He served as a member of the Royal Canadian Dragoons. For over 50 years, Arvo has been a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 225.

The family will receive friends at the THÉORET-BOURGEOIS FUNERAL HOME, Sturgeon Falls, Thursday May 3 after 2 pm. Funeral service to be held at the funeral home at 3 pm.
