KITCHEN, Donald George

It is with sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Donald Kitchen ‘Don’ on November 17, 2019 at the age of 72 years. Dearly loved husband of Gail Kitchen (nee Bradley). Dear brother of Bruce Kitchen (Claudette), Carl Kitchen (Patty), John Kitchen (Lee) and Linda Crickett (Jim). He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and long-time friend Maurice Turgeon. Predeceased by his infant son Allan Kitchen, his parents; Percy and Marion Kitchen and by his siblings; James Kitchen (Shirley), Marjorie Millagan (John), Ken Kitchen (Jean-surviving) and Bill Kitchen (Jean-surviving). Don was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt. He was the present President of the Callander Lions Club and has been involved with the Lions Club for over 40 years. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place at Whispering Pines Funeral Home’s Crematorium. Funeral Services are to be announced at a later date. Donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre would be gratefully appreciated by her family.
