KENNEY, John Edward

June 1, 1928 - May 3, 2007. John “Jack” was born in North Bay, son of Edward and Josie Kenney. He passed away peacefully at North Bay General Hospital, McLaren Site on Thursday, May 3, 2007 with his family by his side. Dear husband of Dorothy (née McLean); he will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Ann (Gary Scott), Laurie (Bill Mountain) and Lyn (Stewart Wright), his sons, Michael, Jim and David (Michelle), son- in-law, Michael Brawley and grandchildren, Karel, James, Jennifer, Kelsey, Cory, Brodie, Kortney, Landan, Paige, Carly, Zack and Connor. Dear brother of Margaret Celetti. Predeceased by his parents, one daughter, Kathi Brawley, one grandson, Greg Baril-Kenney, two sisters, Mary and Loretta and two brothers, Michael and Art.

Jack was a retired sheet metal mechanic from the O.N.R.

Family and friends may pay their respects at McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME, today from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted at the McGuinty Funeral Chapel, Saturday at 11a.m. Cremation will follow at Forest Lawn Crematorium.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Kathi Brawley would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
