KELLER, Nicole

Posted

On October 28th, 2007, the families and friends of Nicole Keller (née Villeneuve) are invited to celebrate together Nikki's passion for life. It will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Inn on the Bay, 340 Main Street West, North Bay, ON. Nikki and John fought a valiant battle against cancer for three years. Nikki was courageous even when sometimes scared to death, but saddled up anyway. ‘Save a horse ride a cowboy'. Nikki wants all of us to fill our lives with experiences not excuses. Whether it be an impromptu trip to Toronto for a concert, walking the beach in Mexico, martinis and margaritas around the fire at Playa Wasaga, golfing at courses all over North America, Nikki rose to the occasion. In memory of Nikki, John would encourage you to take the time to do something you have put off. Remember, life is too short to drink cheap wine. In lieu of flowers or donations: - Treat yourself to a day at the spa. Make someone laugh. See a movie. Go for a walk with your spouse down the beach. Enjoy a good book. Cherish quiet moments. Try something new. Cheer for the Habs. Find a tikibar. Dance with your arms up. Waste away in Margaritaville. Sit by a bonfire with your friends. Hug every child that comes into your life. In other words, ‘Live like you were dying'. Tomorrow is a gift. Nicole Keller (née) Villeneuve passed away on October 16, 2007, at the age of 38, surrounded by family and friends. She was the beloved wife of her devoted spouse, John Keller. She is survived by her parents, Léo and Jeannine Villeneuve, one sister, Roseanne (Brian), four brothers - Danny (Christine), David (Dorlene), Ted (Natiline) and Mike (Lynn) and predeceased by one brother Réal. She will be remembered by 12 nieces and nephews and one great-niece and one great-nephew. Every exit is an entrance somewhere. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME.
