Rev. Dr. David Jones died at North Bay on Thursday March 27th, 2008 at the age of 44 years. The beloved husband of Katherine (nee Marshall) David was the dear son of Rev. James Peter & Mrs. Dorothy Jones of Brockville. He is also survived by his step children Mark (Sandra) of Honduras, and their children Luke & Katherine, Kristin Haines (Brooks) of Chicago, and Kaitlin Driscoll of Buffalo, his brother Peter (Carman) of the Canary Islands and his grandmother Sarah Christie of Dalhousie, N.B. A graduate of McGill, he received his Masters degree and Doctorate at Princeton. Ordained in the Presbyterian Church in 1990, he ministered in Scarborough and Brockville before coming to North Bay. Funeral services, reflecting David's belief in the Easter Faith will be held in Calvin Presbyterian Church, on Monday, March 31st 2008 at 2:00pm. David's ashes will be taken to his beloved home in Metis Sur Mer, Gaspé, In lieu of flowers donations to Calvin Presbyterian Church will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
