February 20, 1935 ~ July 15, 2022 (age 87)
June Jones died peacefully at South Lake Regional Health Centre, on Friday, July 15, 2022, at the age of 87.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Albert Elwood Jones (1931-2013), and was the much-loved mother of Stephen Jones (Jean) of Churchill and Teresa Adam (Robert) of Bradford. She will be lovingly remembered by grandchildren: Bridget (Adam), Katrina (James), Christina (Marc) & Michael (Ashley), and great grandchildren Jaxson, Isabella, Gavin, and Everleigh. Beloved sister of Elsie Soule, June was predeceased by her parents Evelyn (Peever) and Sidney Kinzett, and her siblings Howard Kinzett, and Betty Edwards.
After a 35 year career with Bell taking her from North Bay to Toronto, she retired in Restoule.
A Memorial service will be held at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Restoule at 1 pm, Saturday, July 23, 2022, followed by a casual “celebration of life gathering” from 1:30 pm at the Restoule Legion. Cremation has taken place, if desired donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation are suggested.
