JOANIS, Yvon

1954- 2007. The family announces with sorrow his death in North Bay, Friday January 26, 2007 at the age of 52 years. Son of the late René (Buster) and of the late Jeannine (née Rochon) Joanis. Dear brother of Suzanne Crowell (Robert) of Sault Ste. Marie and Denise (Ted) of Thunder Bay. Predeceased by his sister Joanne Ferlatte (Yvan of Sturgeon Falls). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Yvon resided at Leisureworld in North Bay for the past five years.



His family wishes to express their gratitude to Leisureworld staff for the care and attention to all his needs over the years. To the nursing staff and doctors at the North Bay General Hospital, Scollard Site, a heartfelt thanks for the excellent medical services provided to Yvon.



The family will receive friends at the THEORET-BOURGEOIS FUNERAL HOME, Sturgeon Falls, Friday from 2 until 4 p.m . Funeral service to be held Friday February 2, 2007 at 4 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Donations to the Muscular Dystrophy Association would be appreciated.
